I am a communications strategist based in New York City. My most recent projects include spearheading marketing and communications campaigns for venture capital firms such as RRE Ventures and Lux Capital, book publicity for the release of Own It: The Power of Women at Work by Ellevest CEO Sallie Krawcheck, and press campaigns for startups like Morty and LendEDU.
Prior to that, I was the Director of Communications at Spark Capital, an early and growth stage venture capital firm that invests in startups led by creative thinkers and has backed companies like Oculus VR, Slack, Twitter, Warby Parker, Wealthfront, IEX and more. As the firm’s first in-house communications hire, I helped startup founders and the firm's investment team to develop and share their points of view through press opportunities, conferences and launching the corporate blog. I also worked closely with the firm's community of entrepreneurs, building infrastructure, resources and programming to empower and connect over 100 portfolio companies.
Before Spark, I was the Managing Director at ASTRSK, where I played an integral role in the growth of the agency and leading media relations campaigns for over 100 disruptive entrepreneurs and startups, including ClassPass, HowAboutWe, HelloFresh, Squarespace, Zola and Academy award-winning sci-fi film Ex Machina. Prior to ASTRSK, I spent time at agencies including international tech firm Hotwire PR, The Morris + King Company, and R. Couri Hay Public Relations.
In 2015, I was named to Adweek's 30 Under 30 in the PR Industry list.
I am also a mentor for a 7th grade student as part of the Teak Fellowship, a free program that helps prepare talented NYC students from low-income families to get into the country’s most selective high schools and colleges.
